I’m Declan, a PhD candidate in Decision Neuroscience at the Centre for Brain, Mind and Markets (University of Melbourne).
I work under the supervision of Carsten Murawski, Nitin Yadav and Michele Garagnani.
My research interests are at the intersection of clinical neuroscience and decision-making. I’m passionate about understanding the biological mechanisms behind high performance decision-making in extreme environments.
My educational background reflects this interdisciplinarity:
I have received multiple scholarships allowing me to study in France 🇫🇷, the USA 🇺🇸 and Australia 🇦🇺. I thank the CROUS, Rhône-Alpes Regional Government, ISEG and The University of Melbourne for these opportunities.
